KUI was shaped by a mix of early experiences — learning to customize things with my father, studying fashion, and later exploring materials during my time at the Fire Station residency. Those moments stayed with me: how something small and handmade could feel meaningful, sculptural, and personal.

I’ve always worked across disciplines — from garments to objects — but what connects everything is a care for material
and form. I’m drawn to making things that last, that hold space with intention, and that speak quietly but clearly.

KUI is a continuation of that process — a place to explore design
that’s not seasonal or decorative, but personal and tactile.
